History:
Maewyn Succat homeland was Roman Britian.His father use to be a famous army officer but had to retired to take care of his family after his wife's death. The family become poor but Calpurnius refuse for his kids to have proper education. Like any normal kids Maeywn and his siblings went to school since they were different ages they were put into their own age groups causing them to be sepreated. In south Wales badits of pirates landed kapnapping Meawyn and his fellow collegues. He was sold into slavery at age 10 in Ireland for six years he was imprisoned. But one day he started having dreams. God (The man on the moon) showing ways to escape to a getaway ship. Finally freed, Maewyn join a monastry and studied in St. Germain to become a Bishop. After years of learning completed he traveled spreading Christianity to the gelaic Irish. Along another travel he meet fairies related to the leprchauns some were in trouble and he saved them with gradidude they a company him on his journies. Suddenly snakes begin to attack and posion children in various villges no one knew what to do. Maewyn had to do something, with his new staff created by his fairy friends,casted a powerful spell which taken weeks to perfect. He ordered the snakes to drown themselves and it worked. Maewyn was a hero, but months after his heroic action. Calleach came for vengence treatninhg to kill everyone in the vaillge he curently stayed at. He fought against her, both were evenly matched but Calleach cheated, she summon her posionous snakes and aimed them at nearby children. he thoughtlessly jump in front of them taking the snake vemious bits instead. Withhis one last dieing breath he bless the villege to have everlasting good luck. Calleach 's deeds done vanish leaving her distruction behide. The Man in the moon saw Maeywn selfless and noble actions he choosen him as a guardian.
In 1446 a stone was put in his honor on the Blareny castle tower after the castle own completion.
